Receive clear photos of your unborn baby. Unlike the black and white screening ultrasound required by your physician, the 3D ultrasound offers expecting parents true-life photographic images. Our state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment is safe and offers amazingly clear images of your baby. We commemorate this special time by capturing the images on a disk for you to share with your family.
Some mothers obtain more than one 3D ultrasound to have images from their second and third trimesters. With your first photo you will receive a 20% discount coupon toward a second visit during the same pregnancy.
If you plan on doing this only once, we recommend scheduling between the 26th and 32nd week of the pregnancy because this is the optimal time to image your baby.
In most cases we can provide an indication of the sex of the baby, however cooperation of the baby is required.
This is an elective ultrasound, therefore insurance does not cover the cost. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or cash. Cost is only $125.00.
For Parents To Know
- This does not replace the ultrasound ordered by your physician. You must have the 18—20 week screening ultrasound completed prior to scheduling a 3D ultrasound. We must have a copy of the report if your screening ultrasound was completed elsewhere.
- Studies over 30 years have found that ultrasound has not been shown to cause any harm to mother or baby.
- If the baby is in a position unwilling to pose, a photo may not be able to be captured. The technologist may suggest scheduling a second appointment at no additional cost, in hopes that the baby will then be in a good position for imaging.
