The Emergency Department at South Haven Health System is open 24 hours a day, every day and is staffed around the clock with a doctor specifically trained in emergency care.

We provide evaluation and care from minor injuries to major and life-threatening health problems and trauma.

Upon arrival, you will be evaluated by one of our triage nurses, who will ensure that persons with the most critical emergencies receive care first. Persons who arrive after you may be seen before you due to a critical nature. If your condition changes while you are waiting please let the nurse know.

Charges are geared to reflect the level of service needed by each individual patient. When the services of a regional trauma care or tertiary center are needed, both ground and air transportation is available.
