South Haven Health System provides a wide variety of health services and assessments right in your own home. Because these services are provided by nurses and other health care professionals who live in our area, they interact on a regular basis with our physicians. This close working relationship allows us to provide the customized services and communication that helps assure that you receive the care and health education you need.
South Haven Health System Home Health Services are provided by experienced Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapists, Registered Nurses, Medical Social Workers, and state Certified Nurse Aides.
South Haven Health System’s Home Health Services include these special programs:
- Cancer Care program
- Cardiovascular program
- Diabetic program
- Enterostomal Therapy program (wound and ostomy care)
- Orthopedic program
- Therapy and Rehabilitation programs
Home Health Care is fully-accredited by The Joint Commission.
Also available from the Home Health Services is a LIFELINE Personal Response System. The LIFELINE System provides the security and independence you need to help you live in your own home. Telephone, pendant and wrist-band systems are available to summons help when needed.
