The community has once again come together to help support the hospital’s plan to create a brand-new Wellness & Rehabilitation Center on Bailey Avenue across from the hospital’s Main Campus. About $1.25 million was raised toward this project in a capital campaign under the leadership of  Dr. John Young, SHCH Obstetrician/Gynecologist; and Community Members Sue Knytych, Greg O’Niel and Mark McClendon. The initial gift to SHCH of the land and main portion of the building on Bailey Avenue was made possible by the Murk Family of South Haven.
