X-ray

An x-ray (radiograph) is a noninvasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. Imaging with x-rays involves exposing a part of the body to a small dose of ionizing radiation to produce pictures of the inside of the body. X-rays are the oldest and most frequently used form of medical imaging.
South Haven Health System offers general X-ray exams in a comfortable setting using state of the art equipment available without an appointment Monday – Friday 8am-5pm. All of our Radiologic Technologists are registered with the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) and provide professional courteous service in a timely fashion.
Diagnostic x-ray procedures vary. The equipment and steps involved differ, depending on the procedure and part of the body being studied. Be sure to ask your physician if the procedure being requested requires any preparation prior to the procedure.
